Russian cosmonaut, Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation Oleg Kononenko congratulated Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the New Year. In a letter, the cosmonaut noted that he would be very happy to meet with the head of the state in 2023. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
Kononenko underlined that he is ready to make a feasible contribution to the development of the Central Asian country, which is his homeland. The cosmonaut stressed that he had no doubts that under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the state all the tasks set for the current year will be implemented successfully.
According to the Hero of Turkmenistan, a lot of work was done in the country last year. In addition, a flight-engineer noted that the corresponding period became significant for Turkmenistan.
In April last year, on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day, the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov highly appreciated Kononenko’s work. The president emphasized that the native of Turkmenistan does a very honorable and responsible job.
