Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev meets with Constitutional Court judges

The President said the Constitutional Court is an embodiment of Fair Kazakhstan.

On January 4, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting with the newly appointed judges in the new administrative building of the Constitutional Court that has begun its activities this year, the press office of Akorda reported.

Addressing those present, the President emphasised that the invincibility of the rule of law in its true meaning is the spirit and groundwork of large-scale political modernization of Kazakhstan. The President specified that the country ranks among the world leaders in terms of the scope and content of ongoing reforms.

He noted that many positive events took place last year. The state has undergone a major renovation, which is recognised by the world community. The Constitutional Court will be an embodiment of Fair Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted.

Noting that justice is the dominant of New Kazakhstan, the President expressed belief that judges would fulfil their constitutional duty with honour. Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Elvira Azimova reported on the plans and priority areas of activity.
