Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev visited the Sokuluk rehabilitation centre for people with disabilities, including for children with disabilities, of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, in Ichke-Suu (Malovodnoye) village, the press office of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The Speaker inspected the work and the conditions for accommodation at the centre.
«We can only achieve success by supporting each other. To meet the needs of vulnerable segments of the population, including our citizens with disabilities, is a state policy priority,» he said.
Shakiev noted that he had visited the centre on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and was informed about the problems. In particular, it was noted during the meeting that the rehabilitation centre needs a vehicle.
The Speaker allocated the funds from the reserve fund and donated a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus to the rehabilitation centre.
