President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a joint meeting of the government and the State Security Council. During the event, he assessed the work of the authorities in the current year and noted that they have demonstrated impressive results in several areas, «Turkmenistan today» reports.
Berdimuhamedov said that 2022 has become a creative and prosperous year for Turkmenistan. According to him, great successes have been achieved in politics, economy and culture.
The country adopted the Concept of Foreign Policy Development for 2022-2028, the National Program for Social and Economic Development for 2022-2052. Gross domestic product growth has been stable. Salaries and pensions were increased by 10%.
A large amount of financial resources was focused on improving the welfare of citizens. The industrial facilities and large residential complexes are constructed in all parts of Turkmenistan.
Berdimuhamedov stressed that this year, the state also actively cooperated with the CIS, the UN, the OSCE, the OIC, the WTO.
