Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan highlights importance of digitising civil registry services

Bakyt Torobaev raised this issue during a solemn event marking the 105th anniversary of civil registry offices.

The 105th anniversary of civil registry offices of Kyrgyzstan was celebrated solemnly in Bishkek. Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev attended the event. He highlighted the importance of transferring civil registry services in virtual environments, the press office of the Cabinet of Ministers reported to CentralAsia.news.

He said the country needs to digitise civil registry services, emphasising the importance of automating the workflow.

The government official noted that today it is impossible to imagine the work of the Population Registration Department under the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan without transferring this sphere in virtual environments.

Electronic services have been implemented into the work of civil registry offices throughout the country. These include payments through the Payment Gateway electronic payment system. Employees of civil registry offices sign documents with their cloud electronic signature.
