Turkmenistan and Japan sign massive package of documents

They are focused on the development of ties in the chemical, gas, transport spheres, and water management.
State companies of Turkmenistan and Japanese companies have signed a massive package of documents. It was done within the 14th joint meeting of the committees of the states for economic cooperation. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the MFA of Turkmenistan.

The documents are focused on the activation of new ties in the chemical industry, in the field of gas and transport, as well as in water management.

At the meeting, which was held in Tokyo, the Turkmen delegation was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. Representatives of the Central Asian country summed up the relations between Turkmenistan and Japan. Meredov focused on launching large gas chemical and energy facilities in the state with the participation of Japanese companies.

The meeting participants also discussed possible ways to increase interaction in industry, in the financial, environmental, educational and medical fields. At the end of the event, a protocol was signed.
