On December 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin held talks with Head of the EU Delegation to Tajikistan Raimundas Karoblis. The interlocutors exchanged views on the current state and prospects for promoting bilateral cooperation, the press office of the Ministry reported to CentralAsia.news.
They focused on the interaction within various bilateral and regional mechanisms, as well as further improving the legal framework and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships in such priority areas as politics, economics and security.
In conclusion of the bilateral meeting, the interlocutors agreed to concert efforts to further deepen cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union, emphasising that they would make every effort to implement joint programmes and projects.
