Kazakhstan to launch Single Window platform to achieve innovative growth

The Prime Minister ordered that the pilot project be developed and launched in the summer of 2023.

On December 15, Chairman of the Government of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held a meeting on the modernization of the regions and the introduction of the Single Window of the national innovation system. These measures are aimed at ensuring all-inclusive technological improvement and expanding the use of IT tools in economic development, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The funds allocated by subsoil users for research and development projects should also be used to fund this area, Smailov noted. He added that together with the centre, the regional authorities should ensure that innovations are brought in the regional economic spheres.

Discussing the main issue of the agenda — the concept for introducing the Single Window of the national innovation system, the participants noted that it was necessitated by the creation of a digital platform based on the E-government template.

The positions of state support for thematic projects will be classified on this platform. Moreover, the modern platform will allow participants to collaborate in monitoring, ordering the exchange of services, concluding agreements and in many other vectors.

The Chairman of the Government positively evaluated the proposed strategy and instructed to breathe life into the pilot project next summer.
