Turkmenistan sums up results of youth contests on Neutrality anniversary

The competitions covered such areas as literature, journalism, photography, and translations.

On the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the International Day of Neutrality and the 27th anniversary of gaining the status of neutrality, an official ceremony of summing up the results of two creative contests was held in Turkmenistan. Young citizens of the country took part in them, as reported by «Golden Age».

The first competition Bitaraplyk — baky bagtym («Neutrality is my eternal happiness») was organized by the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and «Türkmenistan Sport» magazine. The competition was focused on literature, journalism and photography.

Altyngozel Amanmammedova, a student of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, became the main winner in the first category, Ogulbike Ymamberdiyeva, an employee of the state enterprise Ýüpek ýoly of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, won in the second category, and Ilaman Churiyev, a photographer at the «Türkmenistan» newspaper won in the third category.

The second competition was dedicated to the art of translation. It was held under the title Köňülleri birleşdirýän sungat («Art that Unites Souls»). Its winner is Aybolek Sahatova, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages at the Turkmen State University.

The organizers gave the winners of the competitions certificates and valuable gifts.
