A regular government meeting was held under the chairmanship of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat. As part of the event, he was informed about the festive program planned for December. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
The information was provided by the Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Media Mahrijemal Mammedova.
She noted that the next month will be full of cultural events dedicated to the motto of this year Halkyň Arkadagly zamanasy («The era of the people with Arkadag»), the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality, established at the initiative of Ashgabat, the Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers.
The program will include events dedicated to the New Year, including the New Year’s marathon, theatrical performances, concerts, media forums, conferences with the participation of scientists, exhibitions, creative meetings, the final of the competition among young pop sisngers Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy («Shining Star of the Year»). From December 10, 2022 to January 10, 2023 artists of the Moscow State Circus will perform in Turkmenistan.
At the end of the month, on December 31, concerts, a teleconference between the capital and the regions of Turkmenistan are scheduled.
Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputy prime minister to organize relevant events at a high organizational level in such a way that all citizens were satisfied.
On December 10, the international conference Bitarap Türkmenistan — ösüş arkaly parahatçylygyň beýik nusgasy will take place in Ashgabat. It is timed to the International Day of Neutrality.
