OSCE assures Kyrgyzstan of continued security support

The participants of the talks discussed Kyrgyzstan-OSCE cooperation in three dimensions of security.

On December 1, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aybek Moldogaziyev participated in the 29th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in the Polish city of Lodz and met with the heads of the OSCE institutions. The parties discussed further Kyrgyzstan-OSCE cooperation in the military-political, economic, environmental and human dimensions and security cooperation, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the existing level of cooperation, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Moldogaziyev thanked the OSCE for supporting democratic processes and strengthening stability and security of Kyrgyzstan.

He noted the relevance of ongoing OSCE projects in such areas of key priority for the country as the fight against corruption and organized crime, digitalization, good governance and judicial and police reforms.

The OSCE officials highly evaluated bilateral cooperation with the Kyrgyz side and assured of further support within the three dimensions of the OSCE.
