On December 1, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to discuss the current economic situation in the country, amendments to the Tax Code and the business climate in the country, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
“Active steps are being taken to improve and create an enabling environment for investment and entrepreneurial activities. We always stand for a balance, when the state and businesses move towards each other,” Kasymaliev noted.
He added that effective tax administration allowed significantly increasing state budget revenues, which made it possible to raise wages, social benefits and pensions.
Representatives of the business community expressed concerns about the upcoming amendments to the Tax Code. Emphasising the need to use a compromise approach to making decisions, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that all amendments would be adopted taking into account the opinions of all parties, including businesses.
