Rahmon addresses meeting of Central Executive Committee of Democratic Party of Tajikistan

The Tajik leader gave specific instructions on further improvement in the performance of executive committees and primary party organisations.

On November 30, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon addressed a meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party Tajikistan. The participants reviewed the progress of the implementation of the decisions of the 13th and 14th Congresses and the tasks set to party organisations for the upcoming period and introduced changes in the composition of the Central Executive Committee, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

In his speech, the Tajik leader noted that the party faction in the Parliament needs to develop synergies with the executive committees of the People’s Democratic Party in the regions, cities and districts and use their knowledge, skills and experience to ensure the effective implementation of the party programmes and the National Development Strategy until 2030.

The President ordered that the executive committees take the necessary measures to address the internal issues, including the implementation of the regulations and provisions of the Charter and programmes, admission of decent party members, early preparations for meetings of executive committees and primary organisations, active involvement in political campaigns, competitive selection and placement of party leaders, compliance with the Code of Ethics and improvement of working conditions.

The primary party organisations were instructed to expand propaganda and awareness raising activities aimed at achieving the programme goals of the People’s Democratic Party, mobilize citizens for celebrating the 35th anniversary of independence, take initiative and active in their work.
