On November 25, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The interlocutors paid special attention to the preparations for an upcoming visit of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Riyadh, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The interlocutors noted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the countries, including trade and economic contacts.
The leaders of the two countries highly evaluated the outcomes of the Kyrgyzstan-Saudi Arabia Joint Committee on Cooperation between the government delegations of the two countries, which was held in Riyadh on November 23. The forum resulted in the signing of the Protocol on mutual activities for the near and medium term.
Kasymaliev met with Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad. The interlocutors discussed the progress of the implementation of joint projects by the Saudi Fund for Development in Kyrgyzstan.
