On November 7, Turkmen leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online government meeting on the development of the agro-industrial sector and the seasonal agricultural campaigns. The President instructed that the Harvest Day celebrations be held at a high level, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age edition reported.
Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of boosting the yield of fruits, vegetables, grain crops, gourds and melons. He ordered continuous monitoring of ongoing agricultural activities, which must be completed according to schedule and in compliance with agro-technical regulations.
The Turkmen leader placed special emphasis on the organisational aspects of the cotton harvest and sowing campaigns. In this context, the President ordered that the cotton harvest campaign be sped up and the preparation of receiving points, processing enterprises and special equipment be under strict control.
The president gave specific instructions for an abundance of food products in the country and planned construction works on industrial and social facilities.
