On November 7, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov headed a delegation that participated in the first Kyrgyzstan-Saudi Arabia political consultation. The meeting took place in Riyadh, where Madmarov held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart Waleed Al-Khuraiji, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the high level of bilateral relations, and discussed in detail a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. They identified further steps to promote cooperation and foster political dialogue through organising mutual visits at various levels.
They paid special attention to an official visit of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Saudi Arabia and its programme.
The officials also noted the importance of infrastructure and social and economic projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan jointly with the Saudi Fund for Development and focused on promoting new projects.
