Families of victims of armed conflict in Kyrgyzstan to receive 1 million soms each

It should be noted that this resolution only applies to civilians.

On October 21, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic informed that the amount of payment to the families of civilians who were killed in the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border was approved, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The families of citizens who were killed in border clashes between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will receive 1 million soms each. Citizens with the injuries documented by a forensic medical examination will receive ranging from 100,000 to 200,000 soms depending on the severity of the injury.

It should be noted that this resolution only applies to civilians; military service members and law enforcement officers will receive financial assistance in accordance with the laws of the country.

During the meeting with the activists on the border rectifications with Uzbekistan, President Sadyr Japarov said the family of each military service member killed in the border conflict in Batken Region would receive 1.2 million soms and an apartment. He also noted that wounded military service members will receive compensation in the amount of 100,000-200,000 soms.
