On October 22, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev exchanged the telegrams of congratulations on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.
In his telegram to the President of Uzbekistan, Emomali Rahmon says Tajikistan is greatly satisfied with the current state of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. He expressed belief that multifaceted Tajikistan-Uzbekistan cooperation, based on the unshakable principles of good neighbourliness, mutual respect, trust and assistance, will continue to grow exponentially.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that over the years of cooperation, the two countries have strengthened close friendly ties in all areas and created a legal framework and effective mechanisms of relations.
“An active dialogue at the high and top levels serves as a strong foundation to build up mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas,” the President of Uzbekistan says in his telegram.
The Uzbek leader wished his Tajik counterpart many years of life, good health, happiness and great success in his important activity.
