On October 11, Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Rakhim Saidzoda and Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Ivanets participated in the ceremony of signing agreements on education cooperation between 19 higher educational institutions of the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan reports.
The signing ceremony took place during the business forum of the two states.
In particular, 11 Tajik universities and 8 Belarusian universities agreed to promote the exchange of experience in education.
As was reported, Tajikistan and Belarus signed more than 90 treaties and agreements on bilateral cooperation, which contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation in many areas.
Tajikistan and Belarus signed the contracts worth $46 million during the business forum.
Earlier, the leaders of Tajikistan and Belarus held talks in Dushanbe and discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as international and regional issues.
