President Tokayev awards CSTO Secretary General with Order Dostyk II Degree

On October 10, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Stanislav Zas, who arrived in Astana for an official visit. The CSTO Secretary General informed the Kazakh leader about the preparations for the meetings of its statutory bodies and the session of the Collective Security Council, which will be held in Armenia. In this context, he informed the President about the progress in the fulfilment of specific instructions of the CSTO CSC.

The President of Kazakhstan awarded Zas with the State Order Dostyk II Degree for his tremendous contribution to strengthening peace, friendship and interaction among nations.

As was reported, the CSTO held military drills in Kazakhstan aimed at improving the professional abilities of military personnel from the CSTO Members.
