Japarov and Erdogan discuss prospects of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic attended the opening ceremony of the Fourth World Nomad Games in the Turkish city of Iznik.

On September 29, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov held talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his working visit to Turkey. The interlocutors discussed a wide range of aspects of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey cooperation, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

In particular, the two leaders considered building up bilateral cooperation in politics, trade, economy, culture and the humanitarian field.

Japarov thanked his counterpart for the excellent organisation of the Fourth World Nomad Games, emphasising that the Games are aimed at promoting the ethno-cultural movement globally.

The Kyrgyz leader attended the opening ceremony of the Fourth World Nomad Games in Iznik.

The opening ceremony featured a theatrical show dedicated to the Turkic world and nomadic culture. Artistic and dance groups from the countries performing at the Games, including about 30 cultural workers from Kyrgyzstan – the Kambarkan folk and ethnographic ensemble, soloists and a director’s team, performed in the show.
