A solemn awards ceremony of the winners of the art contest “My Motherland –Turkmenistan”, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of state independence, took place at the Centre of Public Organisations in Ashgabat. The event was organised jointly by the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation and Adalat Newspaper, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age News Agency reported.
The competition was held among young specialists of law enforcement agencies and subdivisions and university students. The contesters had an opportunity to demonstrate their creative skills, perform in various arts and present the works about the accomplishments and achievements of the homeland to the jury.
The jury chose 14 works dedicated to the holiday of sacred independence. The laureates received certificates of honour and valuable gifts from the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation in a festive atmosphere.
