The military parade in honour of Independence Day of Turkmenistan will be held at a high organisational level. This task was set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for Minister of Defence Begench Gundogdyev at a meeting of the State Security Council on September 8, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age News Agency reported.
The Turkmen leader stressed that the state policy priorities are to ensure and improve the social and living conditions of military servants. He also highlighted the need to further modernise material and technical resources and raise the professional level of law enforcement and military agencies using the best international practices.
Berdimuhamedov dwelt on the issues related to national security, border protection, public law and order, judiciary and justice. In this context, the President emphasised the importance of adopting digital technologies into law enforcement agencies, preventing road traffic accidents, complying with fire safety regulations and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the country.
