An international online-seminar dedicated to the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) was held in the capital of Turkmenistan. During the event, special attention was paid to the main vectors of the work of the relevant mechanism. It was reported by the electronic newspaper «Golden Age».
The seminar was focused on the support of the initiatives of the Central Asian states in the field of land management by the Global Soil Partnership. The event was attended by both Turkmen and foreign experts, including specialists from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants were familiarized with the directions of the state policy of Turkmenistan in the respective area. In addition, attention was paid to the implementation of the Central Asian Countries Initiative on Land Management-2 in the state.
The Global Soil Partnership is a globally recognized mechanism that aims to improve soil governance to guarantee productive soils towards food security, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and sustainable development for all.
