Korea to treat free 10 Kyrgyz citizens until late October

The possibilities for students and doctors from Kyrgyzstan to improve qualifications in Korea were considered.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Korea Aida Ismailova met with the representatives of Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Centre to discuss prospects for cooperation in education and healthcare, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The Ambassador underscored the need to intensify cooperation between the two countries in the medical sector, in particular to an experience exchange between specialists, doctors and professors.

The parties discussed the progress of interaction under the Memorandum of Cooperation between Zhusup Balasagyn KNU and Kemyeong University, as well as the implementation of the Kyrgyz-Korean project for free medical treatment of 10 citizens of Kyrgyzstan with serious illnesses in the Republic of Korea.

As was reported, 10 citizens of Kyrgyzstan will visit Korea for medical treatment by October 30.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue interaction and cooperation in   education and healthcare.
