Kyrgyz authorities encourage impeccable judicial conduct

The Kyrgyz leader positively evaluated the work done in the judicial system in a short time.

On August 5, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with the judges during his visit to the Supreme Court. He explained the reasons for the rotation of judges in Kyrgyzstan. Japarov said that such a large-scale rotation of judges has been done in the country for the first time, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

“The rotation is a very complex process. It is difficult for judges to move with families and live and work in another place. However, this is very good for the state, for future generations. Some judges have been working in the same place for 10-14 years, and the quality of work in the regions is sometimes very poor. Some judges have lost up to 150 cases,” the President said.

The rotation will enable judges to boost their qualifications, and experienced judges to improve the quality of court performance in the regions, the President added.

Japarov said a favourable work environment for judicial employees are created, noting that houses are built for judges and their salaries are increased in August.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan expressed belief that when cohesion and unity reign in the Republic, it will make great progress and recover quickly.
