President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of cooperation. Particular attention was paid to future bilateral interaction, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
Rahmon noted that Dushanbe and Hanoi promote partnerships in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, trust and respect.
“Tajikistan is optimistic about its relations with Vietnam,” the leader of the Republic of Tajikistan wrote.
The President expressed belief that the two countries will concert efforts to bring cooperation to a higher level.
Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasised that bilateral cooperation has great potential for enhancing future contacts, which requires goodwill and political determination of the parties.
The Republic of Tajikistan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam established diplomatic relations on July 14, 1992. The legal framework of bilateral cooperation includes 5 documents.
