An official reception, which was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and the Republic of Tajikistan, was held in the Lichthof of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. The guests could see the photographs of unique nature of the Republic of Tajikistan, the press office of the Embassy of Tajikistan reported.
Representatives of the Parliament, ministries and government agencies, international organisations, the media, German ex-ambassadors, as well as German citizens of Tajik origin and citizens of Tajikistan living in Germany attended the event.
Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan Imomoudin Sattorov spoke about the tremendous role of President Emomali Rahmon in promoting relations between Tajikistan and Germany. The emphasis was placed on the international initiatives of Dushanbe for protecting the glaciers and mitigating climate change.
The exhibition featured the photographs of the lakes, sky-high peaks, cities and hospitable people of Tajikistan. The guests had an opportunity to look at copies of photographs from the exhibition “Tajikistan – the Land of Golden Rivers”. A dinner of Tajik national dishes was arranged after the exhibition.
