Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov sent a congratulatory letter to president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Kurban Bayram. The Tatarstan leader addressed the citizens of the Central Asian country. It was reported by the news agency «Turkmenistan today».
Minnikhanov wished the people of Turkmenistan unbreakable faith. He also expressed the hope that the citizens of the state will achieve all the goals in their endeavors.
The head of the republic also addressed Berdimuhamedov, asking him to accept the warmest congratulations from the residents of Tatarstan.
On April 24, Minnikhanov paid an official visit to Ashgabat. There he met with his Turkmen colleague. They discussed the supply of Kazan helicopters to Turkmenistan, issues of interaction between the countries in building ships, as well as within the implementation of energy projects.
A branch of the Russian company «Tatneft» (its main assets are located in Tatarstan) plans to expand the existing production infrastructure in Turkmenistan.
