Discussed the participation of North Macedonia in a business conference in Almaty

Further enhancement of trade, economic and investment cooperation was emphasised.

On July 7, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vasilenko met with Ambassador of North Macedonia Sali Limani. The diplomats discussed the current situation and further prospects for deepening bilateral mutually beneficial partnerships in major areas, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported to CentralAsia.news.

The interlocutors discussed further steps to strengthen bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation. In this context, they exchanged views on the preparations for the business conference, which would be held in Almaty on September 5-6, 2023. The Ambassador said North Macedonian enterprises in tourism, agriculture, construction and other areas intend to participate in the upcoming event.

The interlocutors expressed readiness to foster political dialogue at the level of ministers and ministries of foreign affairs, strengthen the legal framework and promote partnerships in a number of areas of mutual interest.
