The forum on the Expansion of Cooperation in Tourism between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia closed in Dushanbe. The travel companies of the two countries signed more than 20 partnership agreements following the forum, the press office of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of Tajikistan reported.
The delegation of foreign companies was headed by Director of Saudi Arabia Tourism Information Agency Safar Al Otaibi. Internet activists arrived in Dushanbe together with businessmen.
The government official from Saudi Arabia met with Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of Tajikistan Tojiddin Jurazoda. They discussed the promising areas of further bilateral cooperation in the tourism industry. The participants in the forum paid special attention was paid to accessibility and affordability of tourism services in the post-pandemic period.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia visited the Tajikistan-2022 international exhibition and the National Dishes festival and exhibition during its visit to the Republic.
Tajikistan has introduced the E-visa and visa-free regime with 12 countries and the simplified visa regime with 112 countries.
