On June 24, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with the representatives of the Turkic countries who arrived in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul Region. Kyrgyzstan is hosting a regular plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TurkPA), the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The parliamentary delegations of Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan that are the members of this organisation, as well as Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Hungary are taking part in the XI Plenary Session.
“Today, mutual support is important as never before for the transition to a sustainable model of independent development, and we will be glad to see more investors from Turkic states in our country so that we will improve our common well-being together. Kyrgyzstan is ready for fruitful work with the Turkic fraternal peoples based on these unshakable values, the Kyrgyz leader said in his speech.
Japarov expressed belief that the Turkic states would overcome all difficulties by joint efforts and contribute to building a better world.
