On April 27, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with Acting Head of the OSCE Office in Dushanbe Vuk Zugic in Dushanbe. The parties discussed future partnerships in three dimensions, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe discussed the military-political dimension of cooperation. They also exchanged views on key aspects of economic and environmental cooperation.
A few days earlier, Vuk Zugic discussed key aspects of cooperation with Commander of the Border Troops of Tajikistan, Colonel-General Rajabali Rahmonali. The Acting Head of the OSCE Office in Dushanbe expressed his firm intention to further strengthen partnerships.
On 14 April, Dushanbe hosted the OSCE-supported launching ceremony of a month-long field operations course and a three-week operational planning course for Tajik border guard officers.
