Kazakhstan reinforces law enforcement and national security measures

The leader of Kazakhstan emphasised the crucial importance of well-coordinated actions among law enforcement agencies and security services.

On March 4, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies and security services to discuss further measures to ensure national security and maintain law and order, the press office of the Akorda reported.

Setting the tasks to strengthen national security measures, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted that the key aspects included the reinforcement of legal stability, in particular the intensification of the fight against organized crime.

The leader of Kazakhstan focused on introducing rapid response mechanisms and coordinated actions among these agencies. He said effective interaction among law enforcement officers and representatives of security services is essential for the timely identification and prevention of various challenges and threats.

The President emphasised that the key priorities in the existing situation include the stable life of citizens and the protection of the vital interests of the state and society.

Commenting on the reports, the leader of Kazakhstan gave a number of specific instructions to ensure national security and maintain a stable life of citizens.
