President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council on February 9. The meeting was dedicated to the results of the work of law enforcement agencies in January 2022. The leader of the country ordered the officials to expand the political consciousness of students at military educational institutions. It was reported by «Turkmenistan today».
Berdimuhamedov directed Defense Minister Begench Gundogdyyev to raise the level of political and educational activities at specialized military educational institutions. Particular attention was paid to the importance of conducting high-quality lectures and seminars at institutes, colleges and schools.
During the meeting, the president pointed out the need to improve the level of theoretical training of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. Emphasis was also placed on improving the combat skills of the military.
Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Amanov was instructed to strengthen the personnel potential of the national army and expand the welfare of soldiers and officers.
