Igor Petrishchev, chancellor of the Ilya Ulyanov State Pedagogical University, noted that university students from Turkmenistan take an active part in the life of the educational institution. He sent letters to the parents of young people to thank them for a good upbringing of the children. It was reported by the press office of the UISPU on January 11.
Petrishchev stressed that Turkmen students are actively involved in studies, student life and creative activities. According to him, they are all well-behaved, and that is the merit of the mothers and fathers. In letters, the chancellor expressed gratitude to the parents for the good upbringing of their children.
At the ceremony of presenting letters of gratitude, Azat Astanov, a fourth-year student of the Natural Sciences and Geography Faculty from Turkmenistan, thanked the leadership of the university for recognizing his successes. Ayjemal Yoldasheva, a fifth-year student of the same faculty from the Central Asian country, emphasized that her dream to please her parents with recognition at the university came true.
As of February 25, 2021, a total of 36,389 students from Turkmenistan had studied at the universities of the Russian Federation.
