Mirziyoyev inspects conditions at new presidential school in Karshi

The school for 168 children houses well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, gyms and other necessary rooms.

On October 11, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new presidential school in Karshi and inspected the conditions created for schoolchildren during his working trip to Kashkadarya Region. The educational institution designed for 168 children houses classrooms, laboratories, gyms and other necessary rooms fitted with modern equipment and conditions, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The President was informed that this year more than 10,000 schoolchildren had applied for admission to this educational institution, of which 144 had been admitted on a competitive basis. In accordance with plans and curricular based on the best international practices, children will be taught in English at school. The state has attracted highly qualified teachers, including 10 foreign specialists to ensure the effectiveness of teaching.

“This is the first great victory in your life. I congratulate you on your success and thank your parents. You are laying a solid foundation for your future. Make the most of your time and these conditions. Today’s success is history. Learn more, do not stop learning something new for yourself. In the near future, you will become worthy children of new Uzbekistan. I believe that,” the leader of the republic said during a conversation with schoolchildren.

Before completing his visit, the President highlighted the need to exchange experience between the Presidential School and other educational institutions in this region and update the methodology of teaching the exact sciences.
