New mobile clinics presented to Tajik Prime Minister

The vehicles are equipped with laboratories that allows performing CT, ultrasound scanning, digital X-ray and mini-endoscopy.

Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda presented the mobile clinics with exam rooms to Chairman of the Government Kohir Rasulzoda, the Khovar State News Agency reported on September 6.

These clinics are the large vehicles with laboratories with ultrasound, computed tomography and breast diagnostic machines. Some of the rooms are designed to perform mini-endoscopy, digital X-ray and eye and heart diseases tests.

The mobile hospital also has postoperative care rooms, a canteen and zones for healthcare workers.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, 27 mobile hospitals were purchased. They will be distributed among the cities and districts of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous, Khatlon and Sughd Regions.

Initially, Tajik doctors will work in the clinics together with experienced foreign specialists. The main purpose of using vehicles is to conduct necessary medical operations in remote settlements.
