New khokim of Almazar district of Tashkent Region appointed

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov appointed Azizkhon Umarkhonov to this post.

On August 2, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov participated in a special meeting on the appointment of a new khokim, which took place at Almazar district khokimiyat, the press office of the Tashkent administration reported to CentralAsia.news.

Aripov nominated Azizkhon Umarkhonov, who had served as Chairman of the Main Department for the Protection of Public Order at the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2020, for the post of Almazar district khokim at the recent meeting of the Regional Kengash of people’s deputies. 

The candidate for the post of Almazar district khokim graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2000 and successfully fulfilled his duties at different posts for many years.

The participants in the meeting unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Azizkhon Umarkhonov for the post of head of the Almazar district administration and wished him every success in his new work.
